Our mission is simple: making authentic Vietnamese food accessible to everyone regardless of background or dietary restrictions. We believe that quality of food should not be sacrificed for speed. We want to bring Vietnamese food to everyone and presented in a manner that accommodates everyone’s busy lives. Whether you want to dine in or grab something between meetings, we believe that you should still get delicious food that meets your needs.

Our History
We are Tamarind. Our vision is to bring authentic and home-perfected Vietnamese cuisine to the downtown Salt Lake City area. Our family-owned business is inspired by our mother's recipes that have been passed down for generations. These recipes have been part of countless family gatherings and celebrations, have been used as a means to make money in a refugee camp as our family immigrated to the USA, and in short, these recipes have been used to share our family's love through food with all those around us and we now hope to extend that to you, our customers.
